{ Apologies to one and all. }
Wednesday, November 26, 2008 // 11/26/2008 11:27:00 PM

This isn't much of a post. haha. Just wanted to apologise to people that have been coming to this blog and awaiting updates.

Anyway, i've been really caught up with the NCC's 56th Cadet Officer Course that stretches over a course of three weeks. Its a non-stay-in camp so i still have the luxury of returning home to my comfy bed at home. Sadly the camp site is at Ncc HQ which is at Yio Chu Kang. Staying at Lakeside means a 45 minute mrt trip which excludes the 10 - 15 minute walk to the camp. As the course starts at 720 every weekday, that means waking up at about 520 every morning.

Another thing is that it usually ends at about 5 plus. Which means that it'll take me till about 6 ++ - 7 to get home. Imagine how tiring it is eh. Well anyways, I've gone back again to my gym schedule as of just now, and i'm still wide awake. Gonna take a shower in just a bit, catch a little bit of mobtv and then its a 2 way trip to lalaland. (:

I'm so sorry this blog's becoming so dead. I'll try to post on either saturday or sunday alright people? till then, thanks so much for patronizing this silly little blog. Hope all you people out there are having a fully occupied and productive holiday so far. Just like me, except that mine's on overdrive for three bloody weeks. haha. take care ya'll. bye!

HELLO AGAIN!!!

Okay, its been quite a while since i last updated. Last wednesday in fact, so its actually been a week. haha, blame it on the "tomorrow then post lah" attitude. haha.

Whatever it is, what matters now is that i am back to posting again and i've got to update you on a week, or at least close to a week's period of happenings.

And this time, i'm just gonna keep the words as short as possible, because there are just too many photos today, and i'm not really in the mood to post right now. haha.

so here we go,

FRIDAY

HELL YEAH!!! end of LIT p1 and p2. Which also marked the end of the Written Exams for O's, and it soooooooo can kiss my ass. haha. anyway, so after the pape Alan and I were supposed to go shopping with Wenxin, Pei Jun, Wy-lin and Beatrice. But something on the girls' side cropped up so we ended up postponing the outing to the following monday. So Alan was like, " bro i wanna go out man. Ask the bros, maybe go out for dinner or something.". And, based on the ever-reliableness of the "brotherhood" we met at 330 and headed to over to town. As i had conveniently already brought my clothes for the supposed outing with the girls, i simply headed to Alan's place to take a bath. haha.

The bus trip was uh, well fun i guess? haha. with a few of the guys making fun of people who were wearing shades and boarding the bus during the particularly "scorching" day. And also they were laughing at the noticably large amount of aunties on the bus. haha, bunch of buggers i've got for brothers.

anyway we had SUCH a fun time at town. haha. Best time was at Taka, when the men were all starving. you know the b2 section just outside the food court? The one that has LOADS of finger-foods? yeah that one. We Had Japanese Kebabs, or whatever you call it, Takopachi, brownie. And i have to tell you we were totally gorging ourselves with food. What to do? We're hungry men, and when men are hungry, they take what to eat. (but in singapore, "taking" means you have to put up a sum of money first. haha)

We patronized quite a number of malls, and Jia Hao spotted a watch from Fossil that he liked, and i heard from Cheng Siong that he has it already. haha. $215, i wish i could get things i wanted that easily as well. and, we headed over to Hip Diner to have dinner. THE VERY SAME PLACE WE HAD DINNER IN FEBRUARY, DURING ALAN'S WONDERFUL BIRTHDAY CELEBRATION. and i had to say it was totally nostalgic having dinner there. And i was telling they guys, " you know what bros, we were having dinner here 9 months ago, at this very restaurant, and we toasted, everyone of us, to a successful road to the O's, and of course the O's itself. Its been so fast, 9 months, had just passed us by, and now, we're almost finished with O's already." haha, one thing i didn't tell them was, "I'm gonna miss you guys, you know?". Why? because i was already holding in my tears already, just that they didn't know. So i'd suppose it'll come as a shocker to them. Why would i tear? well, going through so much with these guys, and knowing that they've been there all this while, like how i've been there for them, and thinking that recess basketball would be gone, and everything, its just too much for me. Yes yes i'm a big wuss, and i'm being gay sensitive. haha, but well, that's the affection i have for these chaps. And i think during the party i will cry, so all those that wanna see a big dude like me have tears run down his face, just come. I'll be the highlight of your night. LOL.

After dinner we walked around Cineleisure for a little while, and sweet sweet mummy came to pick us up. 4 guys had to squeeze behind. haha. because there were only 5 of us. we had a load of fun on the car, joking around and keeping my mummy entertained. She dropped them off at Alan's place cos my bag was still at his place. After that we headed home, and while fooling around with my guitar amp, i just thought of something totally awesome for the party. Won't tell you what it is though, but there's a BIG clue in the photo below.

It's really obvious eh? haha.

This is the wonderful bill from the dinner. I can't believe 16 bucks of nothing. haha. (GST and Service Tax)
During the weekend, we celebrated my cousins', Nicky's and Nigel's birthday! Why together? well, first of all, they're brothers. And the second thing is that Nicky (17), has his birthday on the 7th, and Nigel(15), has his birthday on the 9th, so my aunt can conveniently kill two birds with one stone and celebrate them both together. Financially effective actually, only having to spend money on one meal for the huge amount of relatives i have. haha. Don't have photos on that, so don't really have much to talk about that. Oh, though i have to say Manchester United always loses whenever they play big matches. Just horrid, watching them play against Arsenal. Tsk tsk, when they're supposed to pass, they don't. When they should chiong, they don't. how to score? Oh and my dear Aunt Meiling made me a lovely Vodka Martini, "shaken, not stirred" (James Bond eh?). it consisted of 1 part Vodka and 5 parts Martini Vermouth. Strong Strong drink, haha. had difficulty finish it. At least the taste was still okay though, because the Vermouth sweetenend the drink up. So that's about it for Saturday.
For Sunday, well just another normal weekend at daddy's place, playing with ryan and stuff. oh, and I packed up Daddy's sound system for him, and it looks much nicer now. Sadly i found out his REL sub was screwed, so another mission for the holidays, to search for another woofer piece, because the box is still reusable. Hopefully I'll be able to find the exact same one.
MONDAY!!!
End of Physics p1, and the official marking of " LEFT ONE MORE PAPER ONLY LAH". haha. Um, i went to BK with a few of the guys for breakfast, which i did not have because i had a heavy breakfast at home. Anyway, i headed home after that, and got ready to go out with the girls. I was the only guy because Alan felt "awkward" going. haha. (sorry for exploiting you bro! lol)
Had an awesome time shopping with the girls. Ravaging through racks and racks of clothes. I'M NOT GAY JUST IN CASE SOME OF YOU ARE WONDERING. its just that i've developed a habit of shopping with women since i was young, because mummy always brought me out shopping with her. and I used to be extremely bored. but as i grew older, i started giving opinions on what she would wear, and what suited her. haha. hey, that's what you get when you live around women all the time. Anyway, back to the shopping. We went to Vivo, i met Wy-lin first, then Wen Xin, and finally Pei Jun. We went to almost every possible shop in Vivo with ladies' clothes. I did try a few coats too, autumn/winter season you see, and i have to say i did look good in one that i found at River Island. Was so Tempting to get it, but it costed a whopping $199, and i already had a blazer at home, so i thought it would've been a waste to get it. So back onto the rack it went.
After a while we decided to get coffee at the Pacific Coffee Company Cafe. My treat! haha. i had a Mocha, while the girls had, well i can't remember. Anyway, we gossiped away on certain topics of which i will not reveal. haha. It is gossip after all. And we took a couple of pictures together as well.

This was at Topshop, with Wy-lin trying on an awesome looking purple coat, that toally made her look uber-cool. haha. i had to help her fold the collar upwards to make it look cooler, which explains why i was in the photo.
Photos at the Cafe (:

Despite the editing, the photo of me, Pj and Wy-lin was still overexposed. So, it kinda looks like that i have a sort of aura eh? haha.
After coffee we walked around Vivo for a while more and dispersed at around 5 i think? Anyway, was great window-shopping with you girls!!! Let's do that plus coffee plus gossiping again sometime soon yeah? haha. (:
On the way home, i got a few interesting things at the Mama stall near Daddy's place, though i didn't drop by his place. Wondering what it is? haha. It's something for the party, check out the photo after this.
took a shot of this on the train back home. It's a new system that they have installed on the trains to let you know which stop its at, to know which door is opening. Like, they SOOOO should've included this on our trains a long time ago. Even Hong Kong already had it like, 3-4 years back. But anyway, at least they have it. And they better install it in every train. haha.

YUP! BOOZE! the HARD LIQUOR!! a larger bottle of Bacardi, followed by lovely mexican-made tequila for the magaritas! and a 750 ml bottle of vodka along (: Are you in the party mood?? haha.

And, This following vodka was given to me by my Aunt Meiling during one of her overseas trips and she got it at DFS (Duty Free Shopping) at the airport. BUT, Upong passing it to mummy, she hid it in the house. but i have found it!!! Muahahahahaa!!
still considering whether to bring this wonderfully brewed Aboslut 100 to the party. haha. It's really precious to me. and i've gotta say, the bottle is just AWESOME!! Enjoy looking at it (:

TODAY!
I went over to the Hong Kah Market to try to get my blazer altered for the prom! Sadly, they didn't alter blazers. So i decided to try my luck at the other market, the one that's near Fuhua Sec. And Thankfully!!! though they've never done it before, they were willing to give it a try. and for only 10 bucks! why don't i get it altered at Zara or something instead? (because the blazer's from Zara) Its because by the time they were to be done with it, the prom would've been long over!
Thank you so much, the two sweet old ladies that were willing to alter my blazer (:
After that, i headed over to the bird shop at block 242 with the intention of getting a new, much larger bird cage as compared to the current one that i have.

There's the little dude in his new home!!!
And guess who's got a new girlfriend?? (me? haha.)
NAHH.. just kidding, its the bird dude that's got a new girlfriend. haha. because i felt so terribly guilty for letting his girlfriend free.

looks exactly like his old girlfriend eh? (refer to previous post) haha.

Look at the size of the new cage!! i feel happy for them as well, for having a new, much larger home. Because their old cage was just terribly small, and didn't even have space for them to flying around at least a little.

Just a comparison with the two older cages. Enjoy your new home buddies (:
Well, i said earlier that it'll be less wordy. I guess i lied? haha. sorry people! But i hope you'll still patronize 'mua' blog because its well, it occupies your time because there's so much to read, and its in detail too! Which is why its so bloody wordy. Moreover, for those not taking Bio, ITS THE LAST PAPER TOMORROWW!!!! WOOOOOOOHHHHHOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!
And that way you've got lots of free time read really really wordy blogs.
Such as this! haha.
anyway, its been close to a month that i've broken up with cheryl. Have to say its really difficult to forget her sometimes. It's like experiencing a change of lifestyle. So everytime when i'd lie down on the bed and chat with her on the phone, i'd now find myself lying down and talking to myself. haha. We were chatting as i was blogging, so we talked about loads of stuff. Like how her stubborness caused lots of conflicts. And how she'd not like the way i handle things when i'm pissed (probably because i rarely am? Mummy's nagging is an exception though. haha.)
anyway i just hope you'd heed my advice cheryl, to handle your problem. its time to learn to love yourself (: and don't fear taking new steps. you can do it, you've got people that believe you can. People like me, so have faith in yourself alright? Hope you can make a big change in your life and your lifestyle!! All the best with everything that's coming sweetheart!
Thanks for reading this wordy post. Just another reminder, the prom after-party is NEXT MONDAY!!! So pull along everyone that you know to the party alright? the more the merrier eh? And i'd love it if we have loads of people at the party. So spread the word about the party alright? try to make sure everyone knows eh? i don't have everyone's number so i can't possibly notify everyone. and that's where you come in!!! so tell all your fellow classmates about it!
Hope to see you there.
AND SCREW THE O'S!!!! WOOOOOOOOOO!!!

Ahhhh, chinese is once again over... (like i actually studied for it in the first place)

haha. anyway, the paper was pretty okay today. I think i totally screwed the letter writing because there were just to many things i wanted to write in english that i failed to convert in to chinese.. BUT! thankfully the second half of paper one was relatively straightforward with the topic for the newspaper report being: teenagers are unable to survive with their handphones today".Paper 2 was a real breeze because the passages were just too simple and straightforward.

As in literally. All those people who have done Chinese in June, if you ever tried this one, i think you'd say its at least 2 times easier than the June paper. Why? because its so straightforward LOR. haha. the passages were simple to read even for a "jia kantang" (means eat potato in Hokkien, its actually a metaphor for a person that only knows how to speak and live the western lifestyle. Hence the reference to potato, because we chinese eat mainly rice and not potato) person like me. haha. so all the best to everyone who has retaken Chinese today, and hopefully we'll all get a better grade eh? If not the gamble of $24 would go right into Cambridge's pocket.

okay, on to the main events for the day!
(listening to rap music to get into the partae mood! You Don't Know, By Eminem)

Uh, sad news first.
the bird, the female one, flew away at about 430 this afternoon. Yes, out of the window and out of my life. It wasn't really my $35 that flew away (that's the cost of the bird), its actually the sile companion for the male chap that's still in the cage. haha. Blame myself for assuming that she wouldn't fly away. But she's gone now, so at least she's free eh? just hope she knows how to survive the Singapore environment
All the best with life my darling (:

Alright! let's start with the events that followed after the Chinese paper eh? Basically, i went down to Little India from school, headed for Dalhousie Lane to this second-hand audio shop that was winding up temporarily and had really good speakers on sale. After trekking through numerous streets, i finally came upon the shop! And i have to say Little India is really little india, it was my first time there and i didn't expect that the Indian population there would be that concentrated. Really interesting place, but a killer place for my diet though, with all the awesome aromas of indian food..Ahhhh..

(Like This, by MIMS playing right now.)

Originally i went to the shop with the idea in mind of setting my hands on a pair of speakers for my home theatre system in my room. As i stepped into the shop, a pair of KEF Q50s caught my eye immediately. Starting chatting with the boss, Kim (he's a guy ar), nice chap, late 40s to early 50s i'd say. Unmarried, because he told me he felt money was more important. haha! He offered me the speakers at a low low of $150. boy, i have to tell you how TEMPTED i was to buy those babies!!!

(Without Me, by Eminem playing, AWESOME SONG!!!)

Apparently, there was a Caucasian dude that was coming to audition the speakers as well, but the uncle was sooo nice to me that he told me if i wanted them, i could buy it first and he would tell the caucasian that he'd sold it already. Isn't that nice of him?? haha. But, being super hesitant about the situation, and the fact that if i spent that money, i'd have problem getting the booze, i decided to see where my fate lied, and decided to wait for the caucasian dude to come and see if he decides to get them. And eventually, he came, and he got it. haha.

(In Da Club, by 50Cent playing. Question: where on earth did 50Cent go?? )

After that, i was really tempted to get something from the shop because i was just so reluctant to leave the shop empty handed. haha. But, for the sake of you guys who are attending the party, I decided to leave empty handed! With the same $240 i had in my wallet before i entered the shop. haha.

Wondering why i brought so much? well, the pictures below will say it all. haha.

Moving on!
(Window Shopper, By 50Cent playing)

I left the shop empty-handed, heading in the direction of Tekka Mall which was right in front of the shop. Cut through Tekka Mall's Food Court and found myself at the bus stop. Diagonally across was SIM LIM SQUARE. (drooling like mad) Forcing my head in the direction of the bus stop, i went to see what bus could get me to Suntec, or at least the closest to Suntec. And that was 960, which got me as far as Bugis.

While i was on the bus, this old lady just totally cheered me up. Why? well its because while i was on the bus,

(Smack That, by Akon feat. Eminem playing. woohoo! )

she kept receiving calls. And I'm sure you guys know the "delay time" that senior citizens tend to have before they think of pressing the green phone button (aka answer call button). So she kept picking up the phone and went: "Halo? Halo?? HALO?! HALO?! " and then some cantonese words shot out which i was totally unable to understand. haha. This wasn't funny the first time, but when she kept getting the call 3 times after, i couldn't help but laugh to myself. Just pitied the old lady because she took some time to take out the phone to answer but the bugger on the other end of the phone just wouldn't say anything. So to avoid exploding my laughter in front of her, i moved over to the rear of the bus where there was vacant seat. From which, i finally heard her talking on the phone to someone, what a relieve for her! haha. Thank you old cantonese lady, you made my day by ridding my mind of the thoughts of the speakers!

Okay, i think i've talked enough about the unimportant stuff. Here's the important topic of the day!

After changing out of my school uniform at Bugis i walked over to Suntec and finally got to Carrefour. Where i got, the precious, the wonderful, party starters.

BOOZE!!!!
Yes, what you see in the picture are 3 kegs of Heineken, 5 Litres each. This is to be the main drink i was shopping for in Carrefour. Followed by a Magarita Mix for mixing drinks (supposedly for tequila only, so if you have bottle of tequila at home, try to bring it for the party eh?) and last but definitely not least, was a upscaled version of the standard sized Hooegarden beer. A full 750ml of it. This is actually for Alan, because of his desire for Hooegarden. haha. Actually i love Hooegarden too, its just its unique taste and foamy make. And uh, the 10 bucks is there for you to get an idea how big the kegs of beer actually are. Adorable aren't they? haha.

A veritcal shot of the drinks. See how big the Hooegarden is? haha.

It's enormous eh?

This is the label on the back of the Magarita Mix. Sadly its in Espanol, anyone here knows how to read it? haha.

This, is where the booze is safely tucked away from the line of vision of my mumma. haha. Under my bed!

And this is for one and all to see, the shocking prices of the totalled amount of money the booze costed. haha!
Interesting eh?
(Ridin' Dirty playing, i don't have the artise's name)
anyway, i've been approached by an ocean of people and questions for the party! A pretty satisfying response so far i must say. Do try to inform me if you're coming eh? That way I'll know if i need to get drinks or food. And uh, don't worry my non-alcoholic friends, I'll be getting the soft drinks either from Sheng Siong, or from the Cheers that's near the chalet. (:
Here's somemore details about the party:
It's Free Of Charge! (though i'll be putting a cute little tip bowl at the chalet for all those who'd
like to make a small donation)
It's at the Costa Sands Resort at Pasir Ris.
It's immediately after the Prom.
It's totally okay if you don't drink.
It's alright to ask your friends to come along.
There are no parents around, for those who are worried my mum would be there or something.
But don't worry I'll keep things controlled (:
There's no need to worry who's coming or not. If you're thinking of coming, just come, and pull
your pals along. Because I've got lots of people asking me who's going and who's not. And i think that's really affecting a lot of people's decision. Let the others' worry about themselves. Just make sure you yourself have a good time alright?
And for the ladies, In case you're worried about drunk guys trying to be "funny", I've been working out hardcore at the gym, and i will make sure no funny business happens. So don't worry alright? and even if i'm drunk, i'm still really conscious, its just me playing sport if i walk around like a fool to entertain everyone and get everyone into the mood. (:
And uh, just wanna say a big thank you to Nicholas of 4E4, who's just so happen to be clearing his liquor cupboard, and offering me a couple of hard liquor drinks. E.g Bacardi, Shandy. Thank you so much Nicholas!! and i'm sure all the party people are thankful to you too.
Looking forward to people telling me, I can't wait!!!! haha. Have a nice day people, and thank you for coming to my blog once again! Feel free to ask me questions if you have any (: Try to make it yeah? the more the merrier! Till the next post, ciao my fellow party-peeps!!

{ here we go... party time!. }
Tuesday, November 4, 2008 // 11/04/2008 08:45:00 PM

Okay everybody, here's another fresh post right off the stove.
(Listening to club techno music now, titled: the roof is on fire)

haha. bobbing my head now while i'm posting. i'm listening to club techno to get myself into the mood of blogging because i had a huge quarrel with my mum just about 40 mins ago. She seriously needs to give me some room to breathe. I know she's worried, but her son, me, has at least the smallest amount of responsibility to know when its time to study. I just hate shouting at her sometimes, because i know i shouldn't and i really don't want to. But sometimes, my mum being my mum, we need to up our tone a little before she listens (personal experience from me and sister, just ask her). I really wish sometimes we can talk nicely about certain topics, but its just getting worse and worse. Hopefully its just a phase eh?

(Song just switched to Calcutta!! you know that old old techno song that went: "CALCUTTA, A am a taxi driver in CALCUTTA, I drive my little taxi in CALCUTTA, ......." yeah that awesome song (: Ahhhhh nostalgia running through my veins.)

okay back to where i was. I definitely love her, but sometimes she needs someone to listen to. The other day, i accidently said that she needed a man in her life (because my parents are divorced), and now i'm terribly regretting it. Because it wasn't a man she needed in her life. She just needed someone whom she could look up to, to know that every word coming out of that person's life is true, or at least good enough to digest into her life. Sadly, i feel she doesn't have anybody right now. Sometimes i wish i could be that person. Being me, and having gone through all the bullshit that's been going on in my life, i've come to learn many ways on how to cope with problems in life and how to move on. I've helped many friends before, family as well, (just ask them), but the one person i really wish i could help is my mum. Yes, things are getting better and she is starting to listen to me, but there are times when she justs puts herself a little too high up for anyone of us to get to her. Let's just hope that things will continue getting better eh? i don't want my mum leading a life with a half potful of principles, i want to give her my potful of principles (:

Anyway, my mum loves Kylie Minogue, and Kylie's coming on the 25th of this month! so i think i'm gonna surprise her by getting her tickets for the concert. Probably dropping by vivo tomorrow to get a pair of tickets since there's a Sistic outlet there. the cheapest are 50 bucks a piece, followed by 150, 250, 350 and 550. Bloody kylie, why are you tickets so expensive? i'm really afraid that if i get the 50 bucks tickets, i won't be able to see at least her face. haha. Better bring binoculars to be safe.

(song has just switched to Rock Your Body Rock, By Ferry Corsten. If i'm not wrong its a song that was in the game Fifa 2006 on Xbox.)

Moving on,

Nothing much really happened today. Woke up really late from that tiring game of basketball the night before. haha. At 1230pm to be precise. Went over to the bird shop to take a look at Mata Putehs (those little yellow-green birds with a white ring around their eyes. They're really small sized) because i was thinking of rearing them. So i was looking at the $40 ones since they were the cheapest and it was my first time at rearing these birds. And uh, they're buy one get free. Which meant if i decided to get one, i'd have to get two cages for the birds, because they're rather territorial i think. So i was really hesitant on getting the bird. After spending about an hour looking at the birds (this is because you need to see which are the better birds, and to see which is male or female. and the only way of differentiating the male from the female is by watching closely at their belly area, and if you see it vibrating really fast, it means that its a male.) After a full hour i could see no vibrating bellies. haha.

And then there was this middle-aged or slightly above that malay dude who came to look at the birds too. And apparently he taught me a few more things to look out for to tell if the bird can actually sing. (oh by the way only the males can sing. and uh, his technique wasn't really to tell the sex, but actually to see which one can sing. You may think its as good as telling the gender, but i'd still think that looking at the vibrating body is a more assured sign.) And that was to see that the bird had a long body, and that the rings around its eyes should be as white as possible. And while i was busy trying to spray water at a bird that i wanted (because you spray the bird that you see with water so that you can tell it apart from the dozens of other birds in the same cage), he was paying for his purchase. Finally i just gave up because i was getting really tired of darting my eyes around the cage trying to spot the bird that i was keeping my eye on. Moreover, there was thunder and was about to rain, so I thought that if i'd gotten the bird, it might get wet. So maybe another day.

And i left the shop for Cheers to get hi-fibre bread which mum wanted, and went home.

(i just switched to club rock music because the techno was getting boring, and now Starlight by Muse is playing! )

And for the rest of the day it was pretty much slacking at home.

And now! for the moment that you've all been waiting for!! (for the BBSS peeps going to the prom only actually) The details of the party! Well, i leaked out most of the info the day before already, so i'll try to add in more juicy details to make it seem more interesting alright?

Yes, there will be an after-prom party on the 17th of November, immediately after prom is over. Why? because we feel that prom alone isn't enough of a celebration for everyone that has ended this chapter of their lives! So come and join us, the chalet i have booked is the Costa Sands resort at Pasir Ris. I booked a double-storey room so there'd be more space downstairs. And don't worry about what you're wearing, because we're all dressed up nicely too (: We can have a BBQ if there are still a few hungry souls when we reach the location. And uh, for transportation, i predict that there'd be enough time to catch the train to pasir ris. However, as for the last bus to the chalet, maybe not. But what the heck, you can cab down from Pasir Ris MRT station if you want to. For all those who drink, Yes, There will most definitely be alcoholic drinks. (Beer/Vodka/Bacardi and we'll be mixing drinks as well, so just place your order and you'll get what you want.) and for all those who want a bit of alcohol, i'll be getting jolly shandy, so not to worry, you'll be "drinking" too (: And uh, we'll have red wine, kindly sponsored by my beloved "Brother" Alan Chee! I'll try to get a few bottles too. If the response for the party is good, there'll be about 15 to 20 litres of beer. If it isn't, then probably just 10 or 15, once again, depending on the respone. So make sure you do tell me if you're going! Either my sms, email, msn, friendster, facebook. My email's orangejooz@hotmail.com and my Number is 93546512 ( my prepaid number). Looking forward to meet all of you!!!! And uh, there'll be music, don't worry. haha (: And for the non-alcoholic drinkers, there will most definitely be soft drinks available, so party the night away ladies and gentlemen!!!

Bet all those people who are going for the prom can't wait for O's to be over now right, now that there's a party. haha. Try to get permission from Mummy or Daddy ASAP so you won't have trouble if you ask on the night itself.

Once again I'm looking forward to see a huge crowd. So spread the word of party amongst the prom people of BBSS yeah? thank you so much!!! and see you guys at prom! (:

(Wonderful song to end the post: Shook Me All Night Long, By ACDC (: )

Goodbye one and all, come back again soon for more posts! (:
and thank you so much for tagging people!! (: continue doing so!!!

{ revival? i think so. }

woah... i went into blogger and the first thing i saw was: 49 posts, last published Aug 7 2008.that was like, 3 months ago man..

wow. well still ain't as bad as my last record. Which stood at about, 3 years? but that was another blog if i remember correctly.

anyway, big orgy of things to post right now, can't decide what's important to update you guys about my life. especially those that have been begging for me to post. haha. (alan for example)so let's start with pictures, since i love posting pictures so much, because i feel it makes more sense for people to read and see what i actually mean rather than trying to use their "IMAGINATION" (quoted from our beloved spongebob squarepants) to figure out: WHAT THE _____(fill in this with whatever word suits you best) is that guy trying to say??? some might feel words are too vague, while others, boring. So likewise, i'll give you photos and words so you can join together this lovely puzzle of mine.

First up ladies and gentlemen, here's a photo i took of, girls' hairbands if i'm not wrong. obviously its in jap, and i got came across this in Daiso, and i knew not taking a picture of this would be a sin. haha. Ever since my trip to Hokkaido, Japan, last year, I've never forgotten the extent the japanese would go to try to make sure the description of whatever it is of the product was clearly and accurately carried through. Just by looking at the photo below, i'm sure you guys know what i mean. haha. Instinctively i couldn't help but laugh at the hilarious combination of words. though the only thing that was really unclear was the phrase, "the child way". HAHA.. enjoy!

and please, while you're laughing, appreciate the fact that they are trying their best to ensure that the english-speaking consumer, us, is well informed of what to do and what not to do with their product. Of course they did it with lots of humour. haha. (:

MOVING ON!
For all those who don't know, I have got a pair of new pet birds! Budgies to be accurate. Of course i got a male and a female, wouldn't want to get to of the same gender if not.. well let's just say they'll be really bored yeah? haha. The female has the tendency to bite whatever its standing on. So whenever i let it on my finger, she'd nibble away on my entire hand. The male however is more "guai" and likes to walk from finger to finger. haha. Pretty thankful for these pet birds because i felt my life was really boring and i needed companions at home that could just listen to whatever i said and not quarrel back. (unlike mummy or big sister.) adore them, and if you want more photos just ask and they shall be taken. (:

and uh, just in case you're wondering which is which, don't try looking at their belows thinking that you might find a difference. haha. look at their noses. the one with a blue bridge is the male (: oh and uh, i didn't mean to boast my award on the first photo eh, it just so happened that he posted beautifully on it, so i thought what the heck, its a great shot anyway ain't it?

Done with that and moving once again!
lovely shot isn't it? haha. there's actually a story behind why i only posted one of the many photos that i took on the last day of school for the sec 4Es and 5Ns in BBSS. and that is.. when i got home after the tiring day of shooting, i thought i'd load the photos up and take a look at a few of them on my lappy here, and while i was looking at shot after shot, i came across this shot and decided to edit it first, to just take a look at much editing i could do with the lighting, contrast and saturation of the photo. Turns out it was a pretty cool shot, (in fact the first jumpshot i was ever in and also the first the n70 had ever taken). We had beautiful lighting from the sun that day and the conditions were perfect for a jumpshot photoshoot. And just after i saved that very one photo, the entire memory card that contained ALL the photos that i took that day crashed, and the photos were lost. To be honest with you readers i almost teared, because i'd lost one of the most precious photo shoots i have ever done in my life. I spent a full half and hour trying and trying to see if the photos were still there. sadly, nothing was detected. And i lost all the photos of the wonderful class of 4E2. In my mind i just thought: "how the hell am i supposed to explain to them where the photos went." and they were gone, all 182 of them, like, into thin air. except for that one photo that consisted of (from left) Cecilia/Wy-lin/Me/Pei Jun/Wen Xin.

BUT GUESS WHAT?

I SAVED THE PHOTOS IN THE END!!!
or rather my uncle did. and THANK GOD i have a computer geek uncle!!! he's gotta be the ULTIMATE computer whizz.. or at least he is to me. Later in the day i had the memory passed to mummy whom helped me pass it to him a few days later. and with his computer-blessed hands, he brought back to life what was once thought never to be seen again. myth turned into legend. legend into reality. (quoted from LOTR Fellowship of The Ring. haha!) well anyway, good news for you 4E2 people passing by, because THE PHOTOS ARE SAVED!!! WOOOHOOO!!! and i promise i'll try to get the photos into discs and given to you guys. oh and uh, cos the photos are so large (sized) and stuff, i think i might burn them into DVDs, so make sure you've got something that can read a dvd yeah. Oh, i have yet to get my hands on the retrieved photos, so fear not people, i'll be posting more of them when i get them back (:

That's the end of that, sorry if i scared a few of you people about the losing of photos. haha.
moving on,

007.

Quantum
Of
Solace.

MY MOST AWAITED MOVIE OF THE YEAR!!!!!!
I was browsing the 007.com website and came across this wallpaper, and duh, its my wallpaper already. haha. just gotta bow down to daniel craig for being the luckiest man in the world for getting the main role, as the new bond. from a supporting actor in lara croft: tomb raider, to 007 James Bond.

If there were ever to be an Asian Bond ( which i doubt there will be), i'd definitely want to audition for it. haha. Dear readers, do you think i have what it takes? haha.
anyway, remember to catch 007 Quantum of Solace! Out in Cinemas 5th november ladies and
gentlemen (:

haha. okay okay, you can take a huge breath now, its the last photo already. Long post eh? well, my revival posts always are, because i've gotta let you guys in on what you've missed. haha.

Last photo!
This, is a photo-copied version of my official Confirmation slip for the O levels'. Its placed on my table with the sole purpose of bloody reminding me that i have this super long examintation that's never seem to gonna end. well, guess what? just chinese, pure lit, chem/phy paper 1 left to go biatch! haha. it feels like lifting those 20 kilos weight in the gym with the no. of reps at 15. the first few sets are okay, but when it hits the second and third, it drops from 15 to 10 to 8. haha. but at least i can finally rid this off my mind. and uh, the burn marks? i've been burning this stupid slip since the start of last week and everyday i've been burning small sections of it. Boy, i tell you when the last day comes, i'll just burn the entire thing and see its dissipate into smitherins!!! Muahahahaha. oh and on facebook i did mention that i would burn the real thing, but nah, i'm just gonna keep it with me. take it out one day and show it to my kids when they're sec 4, and tell them, your daddy went through the same hell, so stop complaining and start studying, daddy'll always be here for you no matter what results you get, so just make sure you try your best(est). haha.

i'll try taking a picture for you guys when its on fire on the last day, the 12th of November 2008. I can't wait!!
Well that's about it for now. FYI sec 4s/5s of BBSS that are going for the prom who come across this blog, i'll be posting in detail about an after-party for prom. so make sure you come back tomorrow or something, when i post the details. And spread the message too yeah.
ps: try to get permission for the party first if you seriously consider going. And uh, yeah, we'll party all night long don't worry (:
Thank you all for revisiting this blog after its death on the 7th of August 08! welcome back, and please come back again for future posts. (esp those interested in the party!)
