{ here we go... party time!. }
Tuesday, November 4, 2008 // 11/04/2008 08:45:00 PM

Okay everybody, here's another fresh post right off the stove.
(Listening to club techno music now, titled: the roof is on fire)

haha. bobbing my head now while i'm posting. i'm listening to club techno to get myself into the mood of blogging because i had a huge quarrel with my mum just about 40 mins ago. She seriously needs to give me some room to breathe. I know she's worried, but her son, me, has at least the smallest amount of responsibility to know when its time to study. I just hate shouting at her sometimes, because i know i shouldn't and i really don't want to. But sometimes, my mum being my mum, we need to up our tone a little before she listens (personal experience from me and sister, just ask her). I really wish sometimes we can talk nicely about certain topics, but its just getting worse and worse. Hopefully its just a phase eh?

(Song just switched to Calcutta!! you know that old old techno song that went: "CALCUTTA, A am a taxi driver in CALCUTTA, I drive my little taxi in CALCUTTA, ......." yeah that awesome song (: Ahhhhh nostalgia running through my veins.)

okay back to where i was. I definitely love her, but sometimes she needs someone to listen to. The other day, i accidently said that she needed a man in her life (because my parents are divorced), and now i'm terribly regretting it. Because it wasn't a man she needed in her life. She just needed someone whom she could look up to, to know that every word coming out of that person's life is true, or at least good enough to digest into her life. Sadly, i feel she doesn't have anybody right now. Sometimes i wish i could be that person. Being me, and having gone through all the bullshit that's been going on in my life, i've come to learn many ways on how to cope with problems in life and how to move on. I've helped many friends before, family as well, (just ask them), but the one person i really wish i could help is my mum. Yes, things are getting better and she is starting to listen to me, but there are times when she justs puts herself a little too high up for anyone of us to get to her. Let's just hope that things will continue getting better eh? i don't want my mum leading a life with a half potful of principles, i want to give her my potful of principles (:

Anyway, my mum loves Kylie Minogue, and Kylie's coming on the 25th of this month! so i think i'm gonna surprise her by getting her tickets for the concert. Probably dropping by vivo tomorrow to get a pair of tickets since there's a Sistic outlet there. the cheapest are 50 bucks a piece, followed by 150, 250, 350 and 550. Bloody kylie, why are you tickets so expensive? i'm really afraid that if i get the 50 bucks tickets, i won't be able to see at least her face. haha. Better bring binoculars to be safe.

(song has just switched to Rock Your Body Rock, By Ferry Corsten. If i'm not wrong its a song that was in the game Fifa 2006 on Xbox.)

Moving on,

Nothing much really happened today. Woke up really late from that tiring game of basketball the night before. haha. At 1230pm to be precise. Went over to the bird shop to take a look at Mata Putehs (those little yellow-green birds with a white ring around their eyes. They're really small sized) because i was thinking of rearing them. So i was looking at the $40 ones since they were the cheapest and it was my first time at rearing these birds. And uh, they're buy one get free. Which meant if i decided to get one, i'd have to get two cages for the birds, because they're rather territorial i think. So i was really hesitant on getting the bird. After spending about an hour looking at the birds (this is because you need to see which are the better birds, and to see which is male or female. and the only way of differentiating the male from the female is by watching closely at their belly area, and if you see it vibrating really fast, it means that its a male.) After a full hour i could see no vibrating bellies. haha.

And then there was this middle-aged or slightly above that malay dude who came to look at the birds too. And apparently he taught me a few more things to look out for to tell if the bird can actually sing. (oh by the way only the males can sing. and uh, his technique wasn't really to tell the sex, but actually to see which one can sing. You may think its as good as telling the gender, but i'd still think that looking at the vibrating body is a more assured sign.) And that was to see that the bird had a long body, and that the rings around its eyes should be as white as possible. And while i was busy trying to spray water at a bird that i wanted (because you spray the bird that you see with water so that you can tell it apart from the dozens of other birds in the same cage), he was paying for his purchase. Finally i just gave up because i was getting really tired of darting my eyes around the cage trying to spot the bird that i was keeping my eye on. Moreover, there was thunder and was about to rain, so I thought that if i'd gotten the bird, it might get wet. So maybe another day.

And i left the shop for Cheers to get hi-fibre bread which mum wanted, and went home.

(i just switched to club rock music because the techno was getting boring, and now Starlight by Muse is playing! )

And for the rest of the day it was pretty much slacking at home.

And now! for the moment that you've all been waiting for!! (for the BBSS peeps going to the prom only actually) The details of the party! Well, i leaked out most of the info the day before already, so i'll try to add in more juicy details to make it seem more interesting alright?

Yes, there will be an after-prom party on the 17th of November, immediately after prom is over. Why? because we feel that prom alone isn't enough of a celebration for everyone that has ended this chapter of their lives! So come and join us, the chalet i have booked is the Costa Sands resort at Pasir Ris. I booked a double-storey room so there'd be more space downstairs. And don't worry about what you're wearing, because we're all dressed up nicely too (: We can have a BBQ if there are still a few hungry souls when we reach the location. And uh, for transportation, i predict that there'd be enough time to catch the train to pasir ris. However, as for the last bus to the chalet, maybe not. But what the heck, you can cab down from Pasir Ris MRT station if you want to. For all those who drink, Yes, There will most definitely be alcoholic drinks. (Beer/Vodka/Bacardi and we'll be mixing drinks as well, so just place your order and you'll get what you want.) and for all those who want a bit of alcohol, i'll be getting jolly shandy, so not to worry, you'll be "drinking" too (: And uh, we'll have red wine, kindly sponsored by my beloved "Brother" Alan Chee! I'll try to get a few bottles too. If the response for the party is good, there'll be about 15 to 20 litres of beer. If it isn't, then probably just 10 or 15, once again, depending on the respone. So make sure you do tell me if you're going! Either my sms, email, msn, friendster, facebook. My email's orangejooz@hotmail.com and my Number is 93546512 ( my prepaid number). Looking forward to meet all of you!!!! And uh, there'll be music, don't worry. haha (: And for the non-alcoholic drinkers, there will most definitely be soft drinks available, so party the night away ladies and gentlemen!!!

Bet all those people who are going for the prom can't wait for O's to be over now right, now that there's a party. haha. Try to get permission from Mummy or Daddy ASAP so you won't have trouble if you ask on the night itself.

Once again I'm looking forward to see a huge crowd. So spread the word of party amongst the prom people of BBSS yeah? thank you so much!!! and see you guys at prom! (:

(Wonderful song to end the post: Shook Me All Night Long, By ACDC (: )

Goodbye one and all, come back again soon for more posts! (:
and thank you so much for tagging people!! (: continue doing so!!!
