{ party, party, PARTAE!!!!!. }

Ahhhh, chinese is once again over... (like i actually studied for it in the first place)

haha. anyway, the paper was pretty okay today. I think i totally screwed the letter writing because there were just to many things i wanted to write in english that i failed to convert in to chinese.. BUT! thankfully the second half of paper one was relatively straightforward with the topic for the newspaper report being: teenagers are unable to survive with their handphones today".Paper 2 was a real breeze because the passages were just too simple and straightforward.

As in literally. All those people who have done Chinese in June, if you ever tried this one, i think you'd say its at least 2 times easier than the June paper. Why? because its so straightforward LOR. haha. the passages were simple to read even for a "jia kantang" (means eat potato in Hokkien, its actually a metaphor for a person that only knows how to speak and live the western lifestyle. Hence the reference to potato, because we chinese eat mainly rice and not potato) person like me. haha. so all the best to everyone who has retaken Chinese today, and hopefully we'll all get a better grade eh? If not the gamble of $24 would go right into Cambridge's pocket.

okay, on to the main events for the day!
(listening to rap music to get into the partae mood! You Don't Know, By Eminem)

Uh, sad news first.
the bird, the female one, flew away at about 430 this afternoon. Yes, out of the window and out of my life. It wasn't really my $35 that flew away (that's the cost of the bird), its actually the sile companion for the male chap that's still in the cage. haha. Blame myself for assuming that she wouldn't fly away. But she's gone now, so at least she's free eh? just hope she knows how to survive the Singapore environment
All the best with life my darling (:

Alright! let's start with the events that followed after the Chinese paper eh? Basically, i went down to Little India from school, headed for Dalhousie Lane to this second-hand audio shop that was winding up temporarily and had really good speakers on sale. After trekking through numerous streets, i finally came upon the shop! And i have to say Little India is really little india, it was my first time there and i didn't expect that the Indian population there would be that concentrated. Really interesting place, but a killer place for my diet though, with all the awesome aromas of indian food..Ahhhh..

(Like This, by MIMS playing right now.)

Originally i went to the shop with the idea in mind of setting my hands on a pair of speakers for my home theatre system in my room. As i stepped into the shop, a pair of KEF Q50s caught my eye immediately. Starting chatting with the boss, Kim (he's a guy ar), nice chap, late 40s to early 50s i'd say. Unmarried, because he told me he felt money was more important. haha! He offered me the speakers at a low low of $150. boy, i have to tell you how TEMPTED i was to buy those babies!!!

(Without Me, by Eminem playing, AWESOME SONG!!!)

Apparently, there was a Caucasian dude that was coming to audition the speakers as well, but the uncle was sooo nice to me that he told me if i wanted them, i could buy it first and he would tell the caucasian that he'd sold it already. Isn't that nice of him?? haha. But, being super hesitant about the situation, and the fact that if i spent that money, i'd have problem getting the booze, i decided to see where my fate lied, and decided to wait for the caucasian dude to come and see if he decides to get them. And eventually, he came, and he got it. haha.

(In Da Club, by 50Cent playing. Question: where on earth did 50Cent go?? )

After that, i was really tempted to get something from the shop because i was just so reluctant to leave the shop empty handed. haha. But, for the sake of you guys who are attending the party, I decided to leave empty handed! With the same $240 i had in my wallet before i entered the shop. haha.

Wondering why i brought so much? well, the pictures below will say it all. haha.

Moving on!
(Window Shopper, By 50Cent playing)

I left the shop empty-handed, heading in the direction of Tekka Mall which was right in front of the shop. Cut through Tekka Mall's Food Court and found myself at the bus stop. Diagonally across was SIM LIM SQUARE. (drooling like mad) Forcing my head in the direction of the bus stop, i went to see what bus could get me to Suntec, or at least the closest to Suntec. And that was 960, which got me as far as Bugis.

While i was on the bus, this old lady just totally cheered me up. Why? well its because while i was on the bus,

(Smack That, by Akon feat. Eminem playing. woohoo! )

she kept receiving calls. And I'm sure you guys know the "delay time" that senior citizens tend to have before they think of pressing the green phone button (aka answer call button). So she kept picking up the phone and went: "Halo? Halo?? HALO?! HALO?! " and then some cantonese words shot out which i was totally unable to understand. haha. This wasn't funny the first time, but when she kept getting the call 3 times after, i couldn't help but laugh to myself. Just pitied the old lady because she took some time to take out the phone to answer but the bugger on the other end of the phone just wouldn't say anything. So to avoid exploding my laughter in front of her, i moved over to the rear of the bus where there was vacant seat. From which, i finally heard her talking on the phone to someone, what a relieve for her! haha. Thank you old cantonese lady, you made my day by ridding my mind of the thoughts of the speakers!

Okay, i think i've talked enough about the unimportant stuff. Here's the important topic of the day!

After changing out of my school uniform at Bugis i walked over to Suntec and finally got to Carrefour. Where i got, the precious, the wonderful, party starters.

BOOZE!!!!
Yes, what you see in the picture are 3 kegs of Heineken, 5 Litres each. This is to be the main drink i was shopping for in Carrefour. Followed by a Magarita Mix for mixing drinks (supposedly for tequila only, so if you have bottle of tequila at home, try to bring it for the party eh?) and last but definitely not least, was a upscaled version of the standard sized Hooegarden beer. A full 750ml of it. This is actually for Alan, because of his desire for Hooegarden. haha. Actually i love Hooegarden too, its just its unique taste and foamy make. And uh, the 10 bucks is there for you to get an idea how big the kegs of beer actually are. Adorable aren't they? haha.

A veritcal shot of the drinks. See how big the Hooegarden is? haha.

It's enormous eh?

This is the label on the back of the Magarita Mix. Sadly its in Espanol, anyone here knows how to read it? haha.

This, is where the booze is safely tucked away from the line of vision of my mumma. haha. Under my bed!

And this is for one and all to see, the shocking prices of the totalled amount of money the booze costed. haha!
Interesting eh?
(Ridin' Dirty playing, i don't have the artise's name)
anyway, i've been approached by an ocean of people and questions for the party! A pretty satisfying response so far i must say. Do try to inform me if you're coming eh? That way I'll know if i need to get drinks or food. And uh, don't worry my non-alcoholic friends, I'll be getting the soft drinks either from Sheng Siong, or from the Cheers that's near the chalet. (:
Here's somemore details about the party:
It's Free Of Charge! (though i'll be putting a cute little tip bowl at the chalet for all those who'd
like to make a small donation)
It's at the Costa Sands Resort at Pasir Ris.
It's immediately after the Prom.
It's totally okay if you don't drink.
It's alright to ask your friends to come along.
There are no parents around, for those who are worried my mum would be there or something.
But don't worry I'll keep things controlled (:
There's no need to worry who's coming or not. If you're thinking of coming, just come, and pull
your pals along. Because I've got lots of people asking me who's going and who's not. And i think that's really affecting a lot of people's decision. Let the others' worry about themselves. Just make sure you yourself have a good time alright?
And for the ladies, In case you're worried about drunk guys trying to be "funny", I've been working out hardcore at the gym, and i will make sure no funny business happens. So don't worry alright? and even if i'm drunk, i'm still really conscious, its just me playing sport if i walk around like a fool to entertain everyone and get everyone into the mood. (:
And uh, just wanna say a big thank you to Nicholas of 4E4, who's just so happen to be clearing his liquor cupboard, and offering me a couple of hard liquor drinks. E.g Bacardi, Shandy. Thank you so much Nicholas!! and i'm sure all the party people are thankful to you too.
Looking forward to people telling me, I can't wait!!!! haha. Have a nice day people, and thank you for coming to my blog once again! Feel free to ask me questions if you have any (: Try to make it yeah? the more the merrier! Till the next post, ciao my fellow party-peeps!!
